Crosswalks, salt, signs and inspiration

You remember how red the stamped brick crosswalks at North and Wells were during the summer, when they were first being added, right?



Here they are today, after the first day of snow and salt:


They already have that "Chicago Winter Gray" shade. Oh well, the rain in April will wash them clean again.



Slippery season has begun:

Be careful, but don't stop walking and biking just because it's a little cold and snowy!

And this is just a last-minute reminder that the Streets for Cycling Plan 2020 is tomorrow, Saturday, December 10 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Feel free to drop in for a while to begin participating!
